We designed this Vietnam veteran tour for Kathy Ivy and her friends – a group of American Veterans who were on duty in Danang, Hue and Dong Ha during Vietnam War. They visited the old battlefield in Vietnam in 2005 and 2007.

$581/per Person – Price is based on minimum of two persons traveling together, twin share or double bedded room at 3 Star hotel. Itinerary may change, depending on flight schedule, road and weather conditions. Domestic flights are NOT included.

Example Itinerary for Danang – Hue – Quang Tri

Central Vietnam war toursDay 1: Danang arrival (D, G)
Arriving at Danang airport in Danang, you’ll be met and driven to your hotel. You’ll have time to relax after your journey before a welcome dinner at a good restaurant. Your overnight stay will be in Danang.

Day 2: Danang – Hue (B, L, G)
After breakfast, your guide will arrive to take you to Hue. You’ll stop en-route to visit FSB Brick, FSB Tomahawk, Phu Bai and the Camp Eagle where you were on duty. You’ll spend the night in Hue.

Day 3: Hue – Dong Ha (B, L, D, G)
In the morning, your car and guide will take to Thuan An beach where Eagle Beach was located before you northwards to Quang Tri province to tour the wartime ‘De-militarised Zone’, better known as the DMZ. On the way, you’ll visit Camp Sally, Camp Evans, Camp Anne and a view from a distance FSB Rakkasan, the Old Citadel of Quang Tri, La Vang church and Dong Ha town. You’ll spend the night in Dong Ha town.

Day 4: Dong Ha – DMZ – Dong Ha (B, L, D, G)
After breakfast, you’ll visit the Doc Mieu Base, Hien Luong Bridge and the Ben Hai river battle sites. You’ll also visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels. After lunch, your car will take to what was once the Con Tien firebase, and to Truong Son national cemetery. You’ll spend the night in Dong Ha town.

Day 5: Dong Ha – DMZ – Hue (B, L, G)
In the morning, the guide will take you to Camp Carroll, the Rock pile, Dakrong Bridge, the Ho Chi Minh trail, and the ethnic minority village of Bru Van Kieu. After lunch at Khe Sanh town, you’ll visit the Khe Sanh combat base, Lang Vay Special Forces Camp and the Laos/Vietnam border. You’ll drive back to Hue and stop en-route to see some locations such as FSB Veghel, FSB Bastogne, Ap Lai Bang, French Camp and FSB Birmingham a long the road before you return to Hue via route 49 (old route named route 547). You’ll spend the night in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Danang departure (B, G)
You are free until your driver arrives to take you to Phu Bai airport for you to board your departure flight.
